On Friday, May 18th, Buddy and I went to Kindergarten orientation at our local elementary school.
When we arrived, Buddy picked out his name tag and was escorted to a room with the other future Kindergarteners while I went with the other parents to listen to what kindergarten will be like for Buddy next year. Afterwards, we all met up together for a quick snack before leaving. Buddy is so excited to go to Kindergarten next year, especially since he knows that Sissy will be in the same school.
About an hour after we came home, we found Buddy sound asleep. He had such an exciting day visiting his new school, he needed a nap. I have a feeling this is what will happen often next year, especially the first few weeks of school, since it will be all day kindergarten!
