On the day before we left to come home from Indiana, we all visited the Ft. Wayne Children's Zoo.
We saw many animals while we were there, two of which were the monkeys and the giraffes.
I loved that we could see this baby monkey up close. At one point the baby was slipping off the fence and the mother came up behind him, scooped him into her arms, and gave him a kiss. It was so sweet!
Another of our favorite animals to see were the giraffes.
Jon and Buddy were even able to feed the giraffe some lettuce. Buddy wasn't too sure about feeding them, so Jon held him as he fed the giraffe the lettuce. We weren't able to pet them, but it was fun to feed them.
The munchkins' cousin, Liam was quite the trooper. He enjoyed his stroller ride through the zoo and just took everything in.
We rode on a carousel...
and a train.

Gabe and Buddy.
Buddy stayed pretty close to Gabe the whole time we were at the zoo. They were always hand in hand as they walked along. Gabe took very good care of Buddy.
Here's a picture of all the kids together.
We all had a great time enjoying the animals, the beautiful day, and being with our extended family at the zoo. Great memories were made on this day!
