Our Cubbie Graduate

On Wednesday, May 16th, we went to our church's 17th annual Awana Cubbies awards ceremony. 

During the ceremony there was a puppet show with Cubbie Bear, Luv E Lamb, and Ernie the elephant.  They talked about how much fun they had this past year with the Cubbies and how sad it will be that some of them will be moving on to Sparks.  But they know that the graduating Cubbies will have lots of fun in Sparks!

 The Cubbies also sang a few songs for us.

   Then the Cubbies received their awards for finishing their Cubbie book.  The Cubbies moving on to Sparks next year received a new Sparks bag, a Sparkie doll, bubbles, a bucket and shovel, and a blue ribbon showing they completed their second book.  Buddy had Mr. and Mrs. Beckman as his small group leaders this year.  They were wonderful!

 Afterwards, we all went outside and enjoyed some cake.  It was a beautiful evening.  We are so proud of our Cubbie graduate.  We will now have two kiddos in Sparks next year.  They are growing up so fast!
