Dave, Tiffany, and Liam left Friday morning, June 29th, to head back home to Indiana. We had a fun visit with them and their time with us seemed to fly by! Thankfully, they went to Gettysburg, PA on their way home taking them through a more northern route than what they would have taken, missing some severe weather that passed through Indiana and Ohio Friday afternoon and headed our way Friday night. They arrived home safely Friday evening.
On Saturday morning we woke up to no power. So, we decided to go and get some coffee and breakfast (along with everyone else in town it seemed.) We did run into some good friends of ours at Krispy Kreme who shared their doughnuts with the munchkins and let Jon and I go to Starbucks for a morning date. We were so thankful for that and the munchkins had a great time with their friends.
When we got back, we had two birthday parties to attend. After we went to those, we walked up our street to find this, only two houses up from our place...
This tree had fallen and almost completely blocked the road!
(Those are the munchkins checking it out.)

Thankfully, nobody was injured, no houses or cars were damaged, and our power came back on Saturday afternoon.
